Focus was selected by Enhance Energy to provide Geomatics services for their $600 million Alberta Carbon Trunk Line (ACTL). The pipeline will run from the Alberta Heartland Industrial Area near Redwater, AB to the oil fields southeast of Clive, AB. This project will be the world’s largest carbon capture and storage project; at full capacity, this 240 km pipeline will gather, compress and store up to 14.6 million tonnes of CO2 every year. Completion of this project is scheduled for 2013.
Focus will provide the following services:
