South Peace Pipeline, Spectra Energy

Focus was selected by Spectra Energy to provide geomatics services for their $100 million 20” sour gas line from southwest of Dawson Creek to Spectra’s McMahon Gas Plant in Taylor, British Columbia. The pipeline was built to service new producing areas and unconventional gas fields south of Fort St John. Focus provided the following services:

•        Initial Routing and Field Scouting
•        Landowner Discussions and IOPs
•        Preparation of Plans for Construction and Regulatory Application
•        Liaison and Support for Consultants and Contractors
•        Mapping and GIS Analysis
•        LiDAR Analysis
•        Layout for Clearing and Construction
•        As-Built Surveys for all Welds, Pipe Joints and other Features
•        Creation of As-Built GIS Database
