Focus worked with the City of Fort Saskatchewan and the local community to create an enriching and exciting play environment for children of all ages.
The Landscape Architecture team successfully prepared an impressive and detailed proposal, complete with a conceptual design, in the short time frame allotted. After the City presented all the submissions to community residents for their review and selection, the community overwhelmingly selected the Focus design over all others.
By incorporating a new seating area, a walkway, a berm feature, plant materials and state of the art playground equipment, Focus created an attractive park that has become a true community destination for families year‐round. It is an exciting, challenging and, most importantly, fun playground that meets all current safety and accessibility standards.
The project’s scope of work included landscape design and project management, including sourcing of suppliers and contractors, construction drawings and construction management.
