Civic Square Project, City of Brooks
Focus’ Landscape Architecture team developed a conceptual design for a functional, economically feasible, and aesthetic civic square in the Brooks Town Centre Revitalization Zone.
The plan incorporated Veteran’s Park, which is adjacent to City Hall, and the surrounding area, creating a central gathering place for people to meet and interact with one another. Focus’s highly skilled professionals created effective and exciting presentation graphics of the Park and presented them to the City of Brooks Council, Brooks Town Centre Revitalization Zone committee members, stakeholders and residents at a public open house. After an overwhelmingly positive response, the final conceptual plan was presented to the City of Brooks Council for endorsement. Implementation is currently underway.
