Spirit Square Project
Focus was retained by the City of Cranbrook to facilitate a design for funding under the province’s BC ‘Spirit Square’ capital funding program to help communities create or improve an area where citizens can gather for celebrations and commemorations.
By dovetailing this work with another Focus project that included the replacement of infrastructure and rehabilitation of roads in the same area, Focus located the Spirit Square and produced a concept for submission to the province. Construction commenced, based on Focus’ design, in the summer of 2008.
