Focus worked with the Victoria Airport Authority to develop CAD standards, a web GIS application for internal use, a paper map and an as-built tracking system, and provided direct GIS and mapping support to airport staff.
This project included the provision of onsite training as well as the development of the initial goals and long term direction for a move from CAD to a GIS mapping system. The mapping we provided to the airport covered a wide variety of disciplines, including airport operations, airside and groundside, land development, lease management, First Nations reserve issues, transportation planning, environmental impact, water management and coastal mapping.
