Tailing Reduction Operations, Suncor
HCS Focus is currently working on Suncor’s Tailing Reduction Operations (TRO) project.. Four crews are providing surveying services for the Tailings Reduction Operations, which is patented by Suncor. Tailings ponds are part of the mining production, but the new process reduces reclamation from 30 to 40 years to 7 to 10 years. This is a significant change to the way tailings ponds are designed and managed and reduces the overall footprint of the tailings pond. Focus is excited to be involved in the project by providing surveying services, including and congratulates Suncor on its exciting project.
