Pitt River Bridge Project

The $200 million Pitt River Bridge Project in Greater Vancouver, British Columbia, included construction of a new crossing of the Pitt River and its highway approaches, including  a new interchange at the Lougheed Highway and the Mary Hill Bypass. 

The project included the design and construction of a 380m cable stay bridge structure, 126m of multi span approaches, a 50m interchange structure and approximately 2km of grade construction.

In their roles of owner’s engineer, assistant construction supervisor and assistant bridge supervisor, CMS-Focus personnel were responsible for ensuring that Ministry of Transportation standards were maintained throughout the project’s design and construction phases.
