Peace Airshed Zone Association

Focus Air Quality Monitoring is responsible for the operation of a 48-station passive monitor network, as well as the management and administration of the Peace Airshed Zone Association (PASZA) in the Peace Region of Northwestern Alberta.

Focus began working on the PASZA project in 2002 with the installation and operation of a 43-station passive network. The project involved collection of, and reporting on, the data on a monthly basis. PASZA studied the data to better understand the nature of air quality in the zone and the monitoring requirements for the design of the integrated PASZA AQM program. We are responsible for the monthly collection, validation and reporting of data produced by the continuous and passive networks.
