Calgary Regional Airshed Zone (CRAZ)

Focus Air Quality Monitoring is responsible for the operation of a three-station continuous ambient air monitoring network for the Calgary Regional Airshed Zone (CRAZ) in South Central Alberta.

Focus began working on this project in June 2008 when we assumed operations and data management, including reporting of the airshed’s monitoring network data. The current monitoring network includes the urban stations located in Calgary. Future development of the airshed may include operations and maintenance of stations located in rural regions of the CRAZ. Our current project responsibility involves network operations, data collection, data validation and reporting of the continuous ambient air data on a monthly basis.
