HISTORY

Focus created its own safety program, Focus on Safety, in 1998 after receiving our first external safety audit. Following the audit, a strong commitment was made to continue to develop the safety program.

Over the years, the quality of the program has significantly improved. HCS Focus was selected for the Work Safe Alberta Best Safety Performer Award in 2004, 2005 and 2007 for exceptional performance in workplace health and safety. Of Alberta's 128,000 employers, only 350 companies received this award.
