Focus Completes Acquisition of DPH Engineering

EDMONTON, ALBERTA-Focus Corporation is pleased to announce that it has closed the previously publicized acquisition of DPH Engineering Inc. (DPH).

Based in Calgary, Alberta, DPH is a well established engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) company whose core business is the upstream oil and gas industry in Western Canada. DPH has 270 employees; large components of which are professional engineers and technical staff. Over the last 33 years, DPH has built a solid reputation as a key service provider to some of Canada's largest oil and gas producers and engineering, procurement and construction firms.

DPH will operate as DPH Focus Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Focus Corporation, and continue to provide consulting services to their many clients. With the addition of DPH, Focus now has more than 800 people providing professional and technical services to the oil and gas industry in Western Canada.

Focus completed the necessary due diligence aspects of the acquisition with the support of its equity partner, KRG Capital Partners, a private equity firm based in Denver, Colorado.
