HCS Focus Awarded 5 Year Contract from Syncrude Canada FORT MCMURRAY, ALBERTA-HCS Focus, a wholly owned subsidiary of Focus Corporation, has been awarded a 5 year contract to provide surveying services to Syncrude Canada. "We are very excited to continue our working relationship with Syncrude and their extended team of contractors, explains Russell Whelan, branch manager of HCS Focus. Commencing July 1st, HCS Focus will provide survey services on a full time basis to Syncrude at both its Aurora and Mildred Lake mines which are located north of Fort McMurray, Alberta. Syncrude Canada Ltd. is the world's largest producer of crude oil from oil sands deposits and the largest single source producer of petroleum products in Canada. Syncrude currently supplies 13% of Canada's petroleum. Based in Fort McMurray, Alberta, HCS Focus provides a range of unionized survey services to support every phase of a construction project.
