ALBERTA CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL

Focus donated $50,000 towards the development of the Outdoor Healing Gardens for the new Alberta Children's Hospital in Calgary, Alberta. For children, gardens and the outdoor environment are important to the healing process. The new hospital is surrounded by several gardens, each having its own theme. The gardens provide creative outdoor spaces for children to play and a healing space for families and staff to enjoy. The Alberta's Children's Hospital, which opened in the fall of 2006, promises to set new standards for world class children's health care.
