As Vice-President of BC Intec, Owen is responsible for the overall management of the BC engineering and legal survey market segments, which includes maintaining growth and profitability, strategic planning, establishing objectives, ensuring quality, implementing prescribed corporate processes and controls, and ensuring employee development and safety.

Owen leads a team of regional and financial/administrative managers in the province and directs them on organizational planning, operations, business development, and manpower planning, including coaching, succession planning and selecting and/or approving recruitment of management and technical specialists.

Owen has more than 14 years of engineering consulting and management experience and joined Focus in 2001.
