Ron also oversees overall manpower planning, including coaching, succession planning and selecting and/or approving recruitment of management and technical specialists. Ron works closely with other members of the executive team and plays an integral role in strategic planning, new initiatives and acquisitions/partnerships.
Ron has earned several professional designations including Alberta Land Surveyor (ALS), Canada Lands Surveyor (CLS) and Professional Engineer (P. Eng.). Most recently, Ron received his MBA through the University of Calgary's Haskayne School of Business with the distinction of making the Dean's List. Ron joined Focus in 1993 and has been a member of the Focus Board of Directors since 1995. |
