The Focus Kelowna office proudly sponsored the concrete toboggan team from UBC, Okanagan campus.
The idea around this competition is to build and safely race a toboggan with a running surface made completely of concrete, which contains 50% Portland Cement. The 38th Annual University Engineering Student competition was held in Calgary and hosted by the University of Calgary. Nineteen teams from across Canada competed in this year’s competition.
